Aviara was set in a dark room: a polished floor, a dark wood cabinet and back-lit shelves. The round marble top is the only light surface in that darkness.
The base of the table is a fluted cylinder, and the chairs carry the same fluting in their backs. The bird-figure chandelier stays the only ornament.
