Amboise Ivory is the most intensely worked set in the classic collection. The reliefs on the wardrobe doors are picked out in gold; both the headboard and the footboard are carved and carry the same motif. The cream patina ground keeps the gold accent measured.
The nightstand and chest fronts are curved, the handles recessed into the body. The density of the carving and the amount of gold accent can be adjusted to measure; a version without the accent is also made for those who want a calmer finish.
